Diddy Tells Late Ex Kim Porter's Last Words Before Her Demise
losing a partner can be terrifying and so does Iconic hip hop artist and producer Sean "Diddy" Combs whose ex Kim Porter passed away nearly six months ago.
The Bad Boy Records owner, 49, will be the cover for Essence magazine issue for the month of May and broke his silence on the mother-of-three of his kids' last words to him and how the loss has impacted on him.
Diddy revealed that she had sent her kids to him when she had flu three days before she passed away but to his surprise, she asked him to look after their kids when he visited her a night before.
"Three days before she passed away, she wasn't feeling well," he narrated in the issue "She had the flu, and she sent the kids over to my house so they wouldn't get sick."
Worried about her welfare, he revealed that when he paid her a visit one night and she said to him 'Puff, take care of my babies".
Sadly, after that night, Kim was found dead in her apartment. Being devastated by the news of his ex's death, he tried to live up to her words by protecting their kids from getting to know about the unfortunate incident.
"I jumped into mommy mode. I sent people in every direction to try to make sure the kids would not hear about it on social media or the news," Combs revealed.
Diddy also explained how it has been tough it was for him to bear the news when he heard about her death and what later made him strong.
"I was crying out to God - and to her," he narrated his reaction when the news broke "Almost immediately Kim's voice kicked in, and I coild hear her saying, 'Make sure you take care of my babies."
Kim Porter passed away at her resident on 15 November last year and the coroner later found out that her death was caused by lobar pneumonia.
Since her death, Diddy to the Essence that he has been spending more of his time with his family to make sure "everyone's alright like she would do."
