Chelsea: Gonzalo Higuain Wants To Remain At Stanford Bridge Says "I'm Happy Here"

On-loan striker Gonzalo Higuain has spoken about his future at Chelsea after the season and wants to carry on with the club rather than return to his parent club Juventus.
Gonzalo, who was loaned to Chelsea in January, is yet to find his scoring streak in the attack and has only manage to score three goals in nine appearances.
Speaking about his future at the club, the 31-year-old revealed he is "happy" at the club and added that "It is always nice to try a new league" being his first time in the Premier League.
"Obviously It's a period where I'm adapting but I'm hoping that, although I've only got a short time, I can finish well. The best thing we can do is to qualify for Champions League and hopefully we win the Europa League too."
Last week, Blues manager Maurizio Sarri pointed out the need to give the Argentine chance to integrate, given the reason that it takes time for a striker from another league to "play immediate well" in the Premier League just like that.
However, not only could Chelsea trigger an extension clause in Gonzalo's loan contract, they can also prise him out out of Juventus and that will cost them 36m euro (£31.3m).
"I want to do as well as I can so I can be here for next season," he said on his need to improve on his game "I came here and I wanted to stay here. It's a good city, you live well, and you can be relaxed but also enjoy yourself - so my intention is to stay here."
