Champions League Last 8: Liverpool Edge Closer To Reaching Semis After 2-0 Win Over FC Porto

Liverpool have edged closer to reaching the semi-final after they defeated Porto 2-0 at home in the first-leg tie of the Champions League Last 8.
Having won the match, Reds remained unbeaten in seven games (W4 D3) with the Portuguese in European competitions during a match that was Jurgen Klopp's 400th match career wins as a manager.
Early into the match, Naby Keita did the needful with a right footed shot that bounced of Porto's Oliver Torres' right foot and went on into the goal. 
Roberto Firmino completed the scoring right before half an hour of play by tapping in from close range Trent Alexander-Arnold's cross. 
Liverpoool were set for the third goal through Sadio Mane few minutes after the break, but effort was disallowed by the VAR for being in offside position.
Porto's did have chances to put in a goal in through Moussa Merega, yet his effort would have saved the side from losing the match well controlled by Liverpool.
In the end, Reds wrapped up the match for their manager's 111st match wins with the club in their bid for their fifth semi-finals appearance and second under the Klopp.
