Bayern Munich: Chelsea Launch Move For Robert Lewandowski
Chelsea are making strong moves to land Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski at Stanford Bridge by summer.
Blues are keen on ensuring that the Polish player's transfer to the club is successful, despite having issues of transfer bans and already are in talks with the Bundesliga side on his tranfer.
Since Lewandowski's two seasons transfer ban might impede their bid, they reportedly have launched an appeal at the Court of Arbitration for Sport to have the restrictions lifted.
The 30-year-old, who has scored 125 goals in 152 appearances since his move from Borussia Dortmund, is deemed to be a suitable replacement for exited Alvaro Morata who was loaned to Atletico Madrid.
However, in spite of Lewandowski being advanced in age, he yet would come at huge cost of something reportedly not less than £70 million.
