Thunder Winless Run Persist After Losing 123-114 To Toronto Raptors In Overtime Despite Staging Late Rally
Oklahoma City Thunder failed to end their drought after losing 114-124 in overtime at home to Toronto Raptors, extending their winless run to four games in a row.
Russell Westbrook, on his return after a game suspension, notched up a game-high scoring with double-figures of 42 points, 11 rebounds, and 6 assists as Thunder conceded their third home game loss in a row to improve 42-30.
Thunder staged a comeback in four quarter and level the scoring with Paul George notching double threes to close the stats, dragging the game into overtime after Raptors had led the game through staying 18 points ahead.
Overtime did not pay off for Thunder as it took down four and half minutes get basket points and it was Westbrook who broke through Raptors and flushed down a dunk.
Meanwhile, Pascal Siakam was the man yo watchout for in Raptors, leading the charge for the team to win their first game with Thunder since November 2016.
Siakam trailed Russell in the standouts with double-figures scoring of 33 points, 13 rebounds and 6 assists. His team mate Kawhi Leonard also notched up a double-double with 22 points, 10 rebounds, and 6 assists.
