Raptors Beat Lakers 111-98 Despite LeBron James' Game-high Scoing
Los Angeles Lakers' recovery from drought after five games winless run was short-lived by 111-98 defeat on the road to Toronto Raptors on Thursday night.
Since March 2015, Lakers have been unable to win a game against Raptor and have lost back-to-back to the side this season, extending the unbeaten run to nine consecutive games.
LeBron James notched up game-high scoring of 29 points, 4 rebounds, and 6 assists, but was unable to change the fate of the game as Raptors controlled to win their third game in five NBA fixtures.
Whilst Lakers struggled on the offensive, Raptors Kawhi Leonard notched up five three-point basket and finished the game with 25 points, 8 rebounds, and 4 assists for the side that had four players putting up double points scoring and improved to 49-20.
Lakers' hope of making play offs is literally infeasible but LeBron suggested "We have an opportunity to get better this summer through free agency and also through the draft and i believe our front office and our coaching staff will make that happen."
