Rajon Rondon Hits Triple-double As Lakers' Playoff Hope Is In Doubt After Losing 105-113 To Clippers

Rajon Rondon put up his second triple-double of the season during Lakers 105-113 defeat to Los Angeles Clippers on Monday at Staples Centre.
The disappointing twist to Lakers loss was that, the game was labelled a must win for the team to make the playoff having lost to Phoenix Suns on Sunday. Unfortunately, they were unable to deliver a victory on LeBron James debut season.
Earlier into the match, Lakers were in top spirit and began to slid behind Clippers after their 10-point lead early in the second quarter and were left to trail through the stretch.
Hope to launching a rally was finally forfeited when Kyle Kuzma twisted his ankle and was ruled out for the rest of the match, leaving the court as Clippers proceded to finished the game for their third win in a row.
LeBron led the scoring with 27 points, 8 rebounds, and 6 assists followed by Rondon putting up triple-double of 24 points, 10 rebounds, and 12 assists.
Compared to Lakers, six players in Clippers ended the game with double points scoring led by Danilo Gallinari with 23 points, 6 rebounds, and an assist.
