Mexican Open 2019: Nick Kyrgios Beats Alexander Zverev To Win Fifth ATP Title

Nick Kyrgios eased through to win his fifth career titles at the final match of Mexican Open, conveniently thrashing Alexander Zverev in straight sets by 6-3, 6-4 and becomes the first Australian ever to win a title in Acapulo.
The first-time titlist brilliantly served 13 aces and won three break points to sweep through the match against the second-seed who broke his racket in frustration in the opening round.
"It's an amazing feeling. I didn't expect much at all today," says Kyrgios who knocked Rafael Nadal and Stan Wawrinka out of the tournament.
Speaking on beating Zverev he added, "He's an incredible player and doesn't have many weaknesses, so I knew I haf to play my style of tennis. I'm really happy with the performance."
Nick is set to move up in ranking when a new ATP World Ranking will be announced on Monday having beating two top 10 ranking players - Rafael Nadal (2) and Alexander Zverev (3) - to win the title.
