LeBron James, Caldwell-Pope Propel Lakers Past Hornets, 129-115

Los Angeles Lakers are keeping strong despite having to miss the play-offs for another season after already missing on previous five postseason appearances.
On Saturday, LeBron James fired the team past Charlotte Hornets by 129-115 and ended the opponents' four games winning streak at Staples Centre.
Hornet only had the best of the first quarter, but the rest of the game was controlled by Lakers with LeBron rattling in 27 points, 3 rebounds and 9 assists to lead the standouts.
Lakers claimed their third home game win with Kentavious Caldwell-Pope leading the three-point range scoring. He connected 6-in-10 attempts to propel the side past Hornets and notching up 25 points and 4 rebounds and made 4 assists.
Caldwell-Pope praised Lakers all out offensive play saying "The ball movement has been great. We've been spacing the floor, getting it to the open guy...and the way we've been playing on both ends of the ball has been amazing."
Lance Stephenson put up his first double-double scoring of the season with 14 points and 13 rebounds whilst Kyle Kuzma added up 20 points, three rebounds, and one assist.
Hornets' Dwayne Bacon, who had 21 points, 3 rebounds, and 2 assists blamed the side's defeat on being offensive enough, he said "It basically comes down to us just not being all the way locked in." Kemba Walker led Hornets stats with 26 points, 2 rebounds, and 6 assists.
