Lakers Past Wizzards By 124-106 For Second Win In A Row Despite Officially Out Of Play-offs
No playoffs in view for Los Angeles Lakers, yet they have once again found their winning streak having defeated Washington Wizzards 124-106 at home on their second meeting this season.
The winless drought that lasted for five consecutive games culminated in Lakers officially being ruled out of post-season championship games. In effect, LeBron James would miss his first post-season in 14 years.
Yesterday, they started off sharp on the offensive, holding on to the game control through to the end against Wizzards, who also will not be appearing in the play-offs having improved 30-45.
Meanwhile, five Lakers players ended the game with double points scoring with JaVale McGee and LeBron James having double-double in the the team's standouts.
Caldwell-Pope finished atop in Lakers with 29 points, 5 rebounds, and an assist, trailed by LeBron with 23 points, 7 rebounds, and 14 assists whilst Bradley Beal of Wizzard led the standouts with 32 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 assists.
