After two games absence, Klay Thompson returned to peak with a game-high scoring of 39 points and inspired Golden State Warriors to thrash Denver Nuggets 122-105 at Oracle Arena.
It was well a dominated game for Warriors - which suffered their worst defeat of the Denver by 142-111 in Janaury - and controlled it through with Thompson completing nine three-point shots with 3 rebounds, and 4 assists.
It was a devastating defeat for Denver even Nikola Nurkic who led the side to beat Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday, had a bad day scoring just 16 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists as the conceded their worst defeat of the season on Friday.
Kevin Durant added up 26 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 assists as the NBA defending champions extended winning streak to two games in a row and improve to 45-20.
