Kamaru Usman Beats Tyron Woodley To Become First African UFC Champion

Kamaru Usman has become the first African descent ever to win UFC Welterweight champion title having defeated the defending champion Tyron Woodley.
The Nigerian-born fighter who claimed to have fought with broken foot, outrightly dominated and overpowered the three-time champion and outscored him on the card by 50-44, 50-44, 50-45 on Saturday at T-Mobile Arena, Las Vegas, Texa
"It definitely took a toll on my body. I had to go struggle and go through so much adversity just to get here," Kamaru says on defiling injury to win the title which is one of the most stunning victory from a challenger over a reigning champion.
After the bout, Woodley demanded that a rematch be arranged but that does not seemed to be happening. Colby Covington has been lined up to take on the UFC235 reigning champion, Kamaru.
