Jose Mourinho Plans To Return To Management In Summer, Says "I Am Preparing Myself"
It's been three months since Jose Mourinho has been out of job after he was dismissed by Manchester United; he hopes to return to management by summer.
Jose got the boot from United in December following the side's poor start to the season in recent times and was replaced by Norwegian and former club forward Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as the interim manager.
Speaking to beIN Sports, the ex United manager revealed that he plans to be back in summer preferably in June, but had chose to turn down some offers because they did not meet up with the nature and dimension of job he is expecting.
"What I have in mind is that I would like to be back in the summer in June for a new club and a new preseason.
"He said during the interview "I have had to say already to three or four different offers that I had to say no. I know what I want, in terms of not the specific club but the nature of the job, the dimension of the job."
He also talked about the quality that gives him a good chance of landing a good job and attributed that to his ability to lead any team to win trophy as against other coaches who would "prefer to sell the idea of having a philosophy."
Mourinho, in 19 years of his career, he helmed eight clubs from Benfica to Unaio de Leiria, FC Porto, Chelsea, Inter Milan, Real Madrid Manchester United, and has won two Champions League (Porto 03/04; Inter Milan 2009/10), UEFA Europa League (Man. United (2016/17) and eight League titles across the board.
