Houston Rockets shrugged off late rally from Boston Celtics to take home their fifth wins a row on Sunday at TD Garden with James Harden putting up 42 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 assists.
After a slow start from Celtics, Kyrie Irving drive the team to up their game in the third quarter. They were 12 points adrift when they set off for a rally in the last quarter and trimmed the lead down to 112-104 with 2.32 minutes remaining.
That comeback from Celtics could materialise in a takeover as Rockets' Chris Paul who finished the game with 15 points, 6 rebounds, and 12 assists joined force with the beard reigning NBA MVP to hold them down to close the game for their third straight win on the road by 115-104.
After the match, Irving in his response in an interview after the match, admitted Rockets were the better side and it was a tough match for his team which he said "just didn't play well". He finished the game with 24 points, 9 rebounds, and 6 assists for Celtics.
