Former Lakers Star Shaquille O'Neal Joins Papa John's Pizza Restaurant Board of Directors

Former Los Angeles Lakers star Shauuille O'Neal is divesting his resource into restaurant business and has chosen Papa John's as his investment destination.
In a statement released by the company's chairman Jeff Smith, the membership of the former NBA star in the board of directors was confirmed after investing in nine locations in Atlanta, Georgia.
"We are thrilled to partner with Shaquille and welcome him to the Papa John's board," Jeff said welcoming Shaq to the board.
Acknowledging the ex-Lakers star experience in the business he added saying, "Shaquille has an excellent entrepreneurial background, including as a restaurant franchise owner, and is a natural creative marketer."
Restaurant business is not new to Shaq, already he runs chains of restaurant in Los Angeles, Las Vega and has his own franchise Krispy Kreme Doughnuts.
During his NBA career, the three-time MVP, who started his career with Orlando Magic in 1992, won four three Championships with Los Angeles Lakers (2000-02) and one with Miami Heat (2006).
