Europa League Last 16: Chelsea Stuns Dynamo Kiev With 3-0 In First-leg Tie
Dynamo Kiev would have a lot to do to make it through to quarter-finals after losing by 3-0 to their hosts Chelsea in the first-leg tie of the Europe League Last 16 match.
In three meetings with Chelsea, the Hungarian side have won none neither have they ever won a match on English soil in 14 meetings with Premier League clubs.
Keeping the status cuo with Dynamo, Pedro made his way into the box, did a one-two with Olivier Giroud and on recieving the ball back, tapped in the opening goal in 17th minutes.
Pedro was closed to putting up the second goal in the same manner he scored the opener, but was taking down in the box and no penalty was awarded to him.
Loftus-Cheek drew a free-kick minutes after he replaced Barkley and Willian drilled a sublime shot into the post to double the lead in 64th minutes.
Callum Hudson-Odoi completed the scoring, smacking in the third goal after Loftus-Cheek found him with a pass in the box in the 90th minutes.
Chelsea will be hosted by the Hungarian side in the second-leg tie match next week on March 13.
