Conor McGregor Arrested, Charged With Criminal Mischief
Conor McGregor has got himself in trouble yet again. It is not with the UFC this time but with a fan whose electronic device was damaged by the former UFC champion.
The incident happened when the Irishman was coming out of LIV nightclub in a hotel at about 5AM on Monday.
It was gathered that the Irish fighter was on his way out of the hotel when a fan brought out his phone and was trying to take some snap shots of him. Conor did not happen to be in the mood for that and smacked the device out of his hand to the floor.
Unfortunately for the fan whose phone was damaged as a result of its impact with the floor, but Conor went on to stamp his foot on the device, picked it up and went away with it.
The victim reported the incident to the police and Conor was later arrested at his resident where he lives in Miami with charges of criminal mischief and robbery/strong-man of more than $1,000.
He is presently been held in custody in Miami for a bail set for $12,500 according to TMZ.
In retrospect, the UFC fighter was involved in an attack carried out on his rivals during a UFC press conference at Barclays Centre in Brooklyn last year.
