BNP Paribas Open 2019: British No. 1 Johanna Konta Knocked Out In Third Round
British player Johanna Konta has failed to make it pass the third round match after losing to Kiki Bertens in straight sets on Sunday.
Konta did fought hard through a tie-break in the opening set only for the Dutch to knock her out by winning the second set to win the match by 7-6(10), 6-4 and booked her place in fourth-round.
The British No. 1 started off well in the tournament, breezing through opening round with Pauline Parametier and cruised past Taiwanese Hsieh Su-wei in second until Kiki stopped her title.
