2019 Bahrain GP Qualifying: Charles Leclerc Stuns Sebastian Vettel, Lewis Hamilton To Claim Pole Position

Ferrari new entry Charles Leclerc stunned both Sebastian Vettel and Lewis Hamilton to clinch the pole position in the final qualifying session for Bahrain Grand Prix.
The 21-year-old set the pace at the final lap at the international circuit and finished in record track time of 1:27.866sec and became the second youngest driver after Vettel to be pole sitter.
Whilst Charles' team mate Vettel finished in second place, the Mercedes duo Hamilton and Valterri Bottas followed in third and fourth place respectively and Red Bull's Max Verstappen finished in fifth position.
"I am very confident in the car," said Charles on having to reign atop amidst other established drivers "It's crazy to see which drivers I'm fighting with because obviously they are tge best."
Being the first Monacan to be pole sitter, and set a record for himself as the 99th driver to take pole position and his first in the F1 and his first for Ferrari.
