Trailblazers Ends Warriors' Streak By 129-107
Golden State Warriors' five game winning streak ended with their season's worse defeat by 129-107, on the road to Portland Trail Blazers on Wednesday night.
Warriors started off well but frustration began to tell on them in the last quarter when Blazers' Zach Collin held them of in the defense making fantastic blocks as his team moved up in with seven points lead.
It became obvious that Warriors had caved in to Blazers offensive play when coach Steve Kerr was sent out of the court for disputing with the referee for awarding a foul to Zach Collin for body contact with Graymond Green.
Blazers headed on to snap the game with Jake Layman posting double threes and Damian Lillard followed up with a three-point shot to sink Warriors on the road.
Blazers had eight of their players with double points scoring led by Lillard who finished the game with 29 points, 3 rebounds and 8 assists.
Layman added 17 points, 2 rebounds and an assist for Blazers whilst Kevin Durant and Steve Curry tied on scoring with 32 points each.
