Rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine Admits To Charges Of Robbery, Drugs And Nine Trey Gang Membership In Court

Famous rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine whose real name is Daniel Hernandez has pleaded guilty in a court hearing to charges of his membership of a notorious gang in New York, known for racketeering and robbery at gunpoint.
In November, the New York-based rapper and some other gang members were arrested and charged for their role in a gang known as Nine Trey Gangsta Blood and have since been incarcerated.
Tekashi revealed he joined the gang in March last year and admitted to selling drugs, paying members to shoot at rivals and even aiding in an attempted to kill a rival to boost his rank in the gang.
Previously, his lawyer had dismissed any involvement given the reasons that he is just an artist, but Tekashi opened up that in April, he went out with the gang to rob their rivals at gunpoint.
"I paid a person to shoot at a rival member of Nine Trey to scare him," he says admitting to his charges "The shooting took place in Manhattan. I did this to maintain or increase my own standing in Nine Trey."
He went further to plea with the court saying "I apologize to the Court, to anyone who was hurt, to my family, friends and fans for what I have down and who I have let down."
He risk getting minimum prison sentence of 47 years if the Court overruled his plea and the deal he struck with his prosecutors in other to reduce his sentence.
