R Kelly Released From Prison After Posting $100,000 Bail Set
After posting $100,000 (£76,000) bail set, R Kelly was free to walk out of Chicago prison where he has been incarcerated for an alleged sexual abuse of four women.
The bail was reportedly posted by a woman who resides in the suburbs of Chicago and on the slip she regarded herself as 'friend' of Kelly inna bid to keep her identity private.
During a court hearing on Monday, the 51-year-old award-winning artist pleaded not guilty to 10 counts charge of aggravated sexual assault levelled against him.
Kelly's lawyer Steve Greenberg also believed the allegations were fabricated and believes his client would be cleared of all charges.
"Everybody is entitled to a defence. Everybody is entitled to the presumption of innocence," says Greenberg "We should all be takinv a step back. Let's see what happens, what the evidence is and how this plays out."
Whilst Greenberg maintained his stance on the accusations levelled against Kelly, his prosecutors claimed to have recovered a tape during their nationwide investigations that showed the singer sexually abusing a minor.
