Premier League: Sergio Aguero Score Hat-trick For Manchester City In 3-1 Win Over Arsenal
Manchester City's 3-1 home victory over Arsenal has brought Liverpool's table lead under threat as they are trailed by just two points.
Unfortunately for Unai Emery side, their defeat to City at Etihad cost them their place in the table, as they slid to sixth place behind Manchester United who moved up to fifth place.
City wasted no time in scoring wity Sergio Aguero heading in Aymeric Laporte's cross from the left flank of the box in 1st minutes into the game.
Just after Laporte's goal with a header following a free-kick was ruled out for off positioning, Laurent Koscielny equalised for Arsenal heading in Nacho Montreal's corner in 11th minutes.
Aguero put City back in the lead tapping the ball in from close range with a pass from Raheem Sterling's pass.
The England international followed that up assisting in the third goal. He dribbled his way into the box and squared up with Aguero with a pass and the Argentine slid to reach it, forcing the ball in for a hat-trick in 69th minutes.
The game ended in Arsenal's seventh defeat at Etihad Stadium, and Emery has been unable to intercept City streak losing to them back-to-back this season.
Meanwhile, City have won all Premier League games against Arsenal and have not conceded a game in all competitions eversince 2015.
