Premier League: Manchester United Beat Fulham 3-0
Manchester United have overtaken Chelsea to be in the Premier League's top four, a feat that seemed like a dream until Ole Solkjaer Gunnar assumed duty interim manager and maintained unbeaten run in 11 games in a row with 3-0 win over Fulham at Craven Cottage.
Aside from the unbeaten run, in all competitions, the Norwegian has led the team to six consecutive game wins on the road, making his start off with the club best debut ever recorded in the club's history.
Fulham did compete favorably but United was up on their game with Paul Pogba opening the scoring smashing a left-footed shot from inside the area early in the first half.
Minutes later, Anthony Martial set off on a break dribbling through from the center into the box and drilled a shot home for the second goal.
After the break, Juan Mata drew a spot-kick following Fulham's Maxime Le Marchand's foul tackle and Pogba converted it for United third in 65th minutes.
Fulham finished the game unable to end the drought against United in 20 Premier League games and remain in the relegation zone with 17 points while Red Devils moved up to the fourth position with 51 points.
