Paris St-Germain: Adrien Rabiot Rules Out Arsenal, Bayern Munich To Join Barcelona
Adrien Rabiot doggedly left Paris St-Germain to join FC Barcelona, he turned down offers presented to him by the Ligue 1 champions to extend his contract.
The 23-year-old who started with the club from academy, has in his records 13 goals in 150 appearances with PSG, did not featuring in the 3-0 win over Manchester United in the first-leg tie of the Champions League Round of 16 on Tuesday.
He has been ruled out of featuring in any of the club's matches since December because he wanted out despite attempts made to keep him.
In the period of his relentless desire of leave Thoma Tuchel, Arsenal and Bayern Munich showed interests in him and made efforts to make a deal with him, only to realise they can not afford the wages he is demanding for.
Manchester United and Liverpool later joined in on the race for the French player but it was too late as he has already agreed with Barcelona verbally to move to Nou Camp by the end of the season in July.
Rabiot is set to earn as much as £170,000-a-week from his deal with Barcelona plus a signing fee of £9 million.
