Oscar Awards 2019: Orgainsers Retract On Decision To Edit Show And Present Four Awards During Ad Break
Oscar Awards organisers have retracted on their decision to present four awards at this year's show during ad breaks following feedbacks they have recieved from their members.
On Monday, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences sent e-mails to its member on its decision to cut down on the ceremony airing time to three hours and only stream online presentations of four awards.
Since its members did not agree to the proposed changes, it responded to the backlash saying: "All Academy Awards will be presented without edits, in our traditional format. We look forward ro Oscar Sunday, February 24."
The presentations that could have been affected by the decision include for live action short, cinematography, make up and hair and film editors
The show which will be held at Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, is believed not to have main host since Kevin Hart declined anchoring the show following a homophobic row with the orgainsers.
