NBA All-Star Game 2019: Kevin Durant Wins MVP As Team LeBron Rallies To Beat Team Giannis 178-164
Giannis Antetokounmp of Nigeria-descent topped the scoring of this year the annual event of the NBA All-star game, but Kevin Durant from Golden State Warriors won the MVP with Team LeBron which rallied to beat Team Giannis on Sunday night at the Spectrum Center in Charlotte.
Team LeBron started off low with the Giannis' side which has Steve Curry and Russell Westbrook in the team, leading the game by 82-95 by the end of the first half.
Giannis' side extended the lead to 18 points in the third quarter, but LeBron James-captained side recovered the deficit mid-way the quarter and by last quarter had overtaking the lead to win by 178-164.
The Bucks player put up a double-double scoring of 38 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists and followed by Durant from Team LeBron with 31 points, 7 rebounds and 2 assists.
LeBron himself scored 19 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and Rockets' star player James Harden added 12 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists.
Curry and Westbrook tied on scoring with 17 points apiece for Team Giannis while Klay Thompson added up 20 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists for Team LeBron.
