Mike Conley Leads Grizzlies To Beat Lakers Despite LeBron James' Triple-double
LeBron James extended his triple-double scoring but could not stop Mike Conley Jr. from leading Memphis Grizzlies through to beat Los Angeles Lakers by 110-105 at FedEx Forum.
Grizzlies held on to the lead through the stretch of the game and even when Lakers got fired by LeBron and Brandon Ingram to reduce Lakers' deficit, that effort was not enough to save the team for losing.
LeBron finished the game with scoring 24 points, 12 rebounds, and 11 assists- his sixth triple-double of the season - as Lakers winless run on the road reaches five games in a row.
However, Ingram had a sensational outting leading the stats with 32 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists followed by Grizzlies' Conley with 30 points, 2 rebounds, and 5 assists.
Lakers head coach Luke Walton blamed the team's loss on the bench whom have not been getting enought time to prove their capability.
"We need more, but I've started limiting the minutes of some of the bench guys. They're not getting the same amount of opportunity.," says Luke.
