Manchester United: Marouane Fellaini Leaves For China's Shadong Luneng Taishan On Permanent Deal
After 11 years stint in the Premier League, Marouane Fellaini has finally left the League and Manchester United for Chinese Super League side Shadong Luneng Taishan on Thursday.
Last year in summer, the Belgian extended his stay at United until 2020 after a year option in his contract was triggered by the club. Now, that United and the Chinese club have reached an agreement on transfer, he will spend the rest of the contract with his new club.
Fellaini has already done his medical and has jetted out of the United Kingdom to China where he will discuss with club on personal terms to finalise the deal.
The 31-year-old was signed to United from Everton in 2013 for £27.5 million. In 119 appearances, he scored 12 goals and won the UEFA Europa League, FA Cup and EFL Cup with United.
