Manchester United: Marcus Rashford Closes In On Four-year Contract Valued At £50 Million

Talks between Manchester United and Marcus Rashford has reached advanced stage and he is set to net a new contract.
The England forward was promoted from the club's youth team to senior in 2015 under Louis van Gaal, and on his debut scored two goals during United's 5-1 win over Midtjylland in the UEFA Europa League round of 32 second leg tie in 2016.
Currently, his contract runs until 2020 and United are keen to keeping him at the club despite Real Madrid and PSG showing interest with bumper offers. Thus, in an effort to keep hold of him, they are offering a deal that will more than double his current wages.
In a new four-year contract with a value of £50 million both parties are in talks over, Rashford's £75,000-a-week will leapfrog to a whooping £200,000-a-week wages when an agreemeng is reached and a deal signed to - that will make him one of the highest paid players in the club.
It is important to recall that Real Madrid are reportedly considering to make an offer of £250,000-a-week by summer should United fail to work a deal out with him.
However, the 21-year-old has been sensational under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer scoring six goals in eight Premier League games compared how he was under Jose Mourinho early into the season.
In addition, he has scored 23 goals in 100 appearances, winning with the club UEFA Europa League title (2016/17), FA Cup (2015-16) and the EFL Cup (2016-17).
