Manchester City: Aymeric Laporte Extends Contract 2025
Aymeric Laporte has extended his contract with Manchester City for another two years - he will stay at the club until 2025.
The left centre back, 24, joined City from Athletic Bilbao for £57 million last year in January and has scored 2 goals in 35 appearances.
City's director of football Txiki Begiristain described the Frenchman as a "huge talent" whose skills and attitude fits in the club's plan "perfectly."
Aymeric says about committing more years to City that, "Since the day i arrived here, I have been made to feel welcome by Pep [Guardiola] and all the players."
He also added saying that the club has afforded him the chance to improve on his game and would like to "continue getting better and better."
"Obviously, I want to win silverware and I feel City is the best place to fulfil all my ambitions."
