Magic Johnson To Meet With Lakers Over Failure To Secure Deal With Anthony Davis Before Deadline Date

As NBA transfer deadline passed, definitely Lakers' effort to land Orleans Pelicans star Anthony Davis at Staples Centre can no longer materialise and he will be playing the rest of the season with his team.
Anthony Davis sparked serious debate on his future at New Orleans when made his interest to be traded out known, and that fell in line with Lakers yawning for a suitable player to team up with LeBron James to boost the team on the offensive.
Now that they didn't succeed on their plight before deadline date, the franchise's President of basketball operation Magic Johnson, has planned to meet with his team over their failure to secure a deal with Anthony Davis.
According Los Angeles Times, Johnson will be meeting the team to discuss the franchise plan is to win the championship and its "doing all it can it can to accomplish" the set goal.
