Lakers Rallied To Beat Houston Rockets 111-106
LeBron James led Lakers on a rally to overturn 19 points deficit and beat Houston Rockets by 111-106 on Wednesday night at the Staples Centre.
James Harden managed to extend his 30-point scoring to 32nd consecutive games but was unable to stop Lakers to snatching game control with a comeback midway third quarter.
Rockets had the best part of the first half and by the third quarter had shoved Lakers behind by 19 points, but all that soon take a new turn when LeBron spearheaded a comeback to cut the deficit down to 7 points.
Lakers became even more offensive in the deciding quarter and rallied to overtake the lead from Rockets and went to claim their first and much needed game victory after the NBA All-star week break.
Despite the loss, the reigning NBA MVP Harden led the scoring with 30 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists and Chris Paul followed him in the stats for Rockets with a double-double scoring of 23 points, 10 rebounds and 9 assists.
LeBron, who was in good shape during the game posted 29 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists for his 22nd double-double scoring of the season.
Brandon Ingram also joined in scoring leadership with 27 points, 13 rebounds and an assist and Kyle Kuzma registered in 18 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists for Lakers.
