Lakers Lose On Trip To Warriors by 115-101 Without LeBron James
In the absence of Lakers' superstar player LeBron James, Golden State Warriors claimed the by 115-101 on Saturday night at the Oracle Arena.
LeBron made a comeback against Los Angeles Clippers after being ruled out for 17 games for left groin injury, but the four-time MVP titlist was not fit enough to return, thus he was ruled out against Warriors.
Lakers were kind of shorthanded as a result of LeBron absence, despite starting slow against Warriors in the first quarter, Lakers got fired up and cut down the deficit before moving up in the lead with 10-point margin mid-way third quarter.
Warriors rallied and cut down Lakers' lead to a point and Andre Iguodala and Steve Curry fired the side up posting three point basket back-to-back to be up by 12-points margin in the fourth-quarter.
The margin gained by Warriors was enough for the side to progress and claim game over Lakers whose aggression cooled off in the fourth quarter.
Marcus Cousins found his streak during the game putting in his first double-digit of the season with 18 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists.
