Jay-Z Describes 21 Savage's Detention As "Absolute Travesty"

Jay-Z has thrown his weight behind rapper 21 Savage who was arrested and detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) for being British and staying in the United States longer than allowed in his visa.
In a statement released by the Roc Nation mogul, he made his position clear on the incarceration of the father-of-three and described ICE actions as "absolute travesty".
"The arrest and detention of 21 Savage is an absolute travesty," he wrote in the statement released on his social media page "his U visa petition has been pending for four years. In addition to being a successful recording artist, 21 deserves to be reunited with his children immediately."
21 was arrested in Atlanta, Georgia on Saturday by ICE for being undocumented, but the rapper's team has condemned the action as witchhunting because he callied out the authorities in his song "A Lot"
In an effect to stop the deportation of 21, Jay has hired a lawyer named Alex Spiro for the case and told TMZ that "We are not going to stop until he is released, bonded out or in front of a judge."
