James Harden Puts Up 44 Points For Houston Rockets To Pass Phoenix Suns By 118-110

James Harden inspired Rockets through a hard-fought match with Phoenix Suns, extending his 30-point scoring streak to 27 consecutive - the longest ever recorded in NBA history.
Rockets held their opponents down to trail them through the first half and were out for a cruise after the break leading by 20-point margin late in third quarter.
Suns got fired up in the deciding quarter and cut the lead down to 8-point margin of 122-104 with 1.56 minutes remaining.  However, Rockets kept the lead to win by 118-110 the game and improve by 31-22.
Besides extending his 30-point streak, the reigning MVP titlist finished with 44 points, his 20th of the season and tied up with Wilt Chamberlain, Michael Jordan and Rick Barry for record set for scoring 40 points or more in the season's first 50 games.
Harden also added 8 rebounds and 6 assists to the stats. Kenneth Karied also joined him in the streak putting up double-double scoring of 17 points, 14 rebounds and an assist. DeAndre Ayton added a double-digits scoring of 15 points, 11 rebounds and 3 assists.
