Grammy Awards 2019: Childish Gambino Wins Best Song of the Year For "This Is America", Becomes First Rap Song To Win The Prize
Having won best music video, Childish Gambino has got Best Song of the Year had on top with yet his symbolic hit song "This is America".
The 35-year-old was voted best in the category that is highly conveted amongst contenders likes of Kendrick Lamar & SZA "All The Stars", Drake's "God's Plan", Shawn Mendes' "In My Blood", Brandi Carlie's "The Joke", Zedd, Maten Morris and Grey's "The Middle", and Lady Gaga & Bradley Cooper's "Shallow".
Interestingly, Gambino made history with the track which hapoened to be the first rap song ever to win Grammys' Song of the Year Award in history.
