Grammy Awards 2019: Childish Gambino Wins Best Music Video For "This Is America", Ariana Grande Receives Best Pop Vocal For "Sweetener"

Childish Gambino's hit song "This Is America" has landed him the Best Music Video at the Grammy Awards held at the Staples Centre in Los Angeles, California.
The symbolic was voted winner amongst other contenders in the category such as "I'm Not Racist" by Joymet Lucas, "PYNK" from Janelle, "Apes--t" and "MUMBO JUMBO" by Tierra Whack.
Gambino was absent the event and the prize was recieved on his behave by the video producers Hiro Murai, who dedicated he award to late Donald Glover Sr.
Earlier at the award ceremony, Ariana Grande won her first ever Grammys with "Sweetener" for Best Pop Vocal Award.
Amongst contenders in the Best Pop Vocal category was Camila Cabello "Camila", Shawn Mendes "Shawn Mendes", P!nk "Beautiful Trauma" and Taylor Swift "Reputation".
Meanwhile, Grande was also not at the ceremony, but tweeted about winning her first Grammys when she learned about it.
"F--K"she wrote in the tweet "I know I'm not there tonight (trust, I tried and still truly wished it had work out tbh) and I know I said I trg not to out too much weight into these things...but f--k......ghis is wild and beautiful. Thank you so much."
