EFL Carabao Cup Final: Manchester City Beat Chelsea After Penalty Shootout To Lift Trophy

Manchester City claimed their first title of the season over Chelsea by winning the Carabao Cup final after a penalty shootout on Sunday at Stanford Bridge.
The goalless final between City and Chelsea was its first since 2009 in the League Cup history - the last time it happened was in 2009 between Manchester City vs Tottenham. 
It was such a disappointing night for Maurizio Sarri who has been criticised for a drop in the team's performance since they lost 6-0 to Manchester City in Premier League games and are now out of top four in the EPL table.
During the shoot out, the Italian tried to save his the team from losing and replaces his goal keeper Kepa Arrizabalaga with his subordinate Willy Caballero, yet City proceeded to win the silverware with Raheem Sterling scoring the decider.
Having won the title for the sixth time, City trailed Liverpool in all-time biggest winners of the competition - Reds have lifted yhe silverware eight times, the highest ever recorded in the League Cup history.
