Warriors Stretch Streak To 10 Consecutive Games After 115-111 Win Over Boston Celtics
Warriors stopped Celtics winning runs for their's ninth straight wins on trip with Steve Curry inspring the group through for their 10th straight game victory in a row.
Kyrie Irving made an effort to snap the game for Celtics after Marcus Smart tied the scores late in fourth quarter, but Steve Curry scores two free throws to seal the game for Warriors by 115-111 at TD Garden on Saturday night.
"We bring the best out in each other obviously, In this building It's tough because they're loud and engaged they can go on runs," says Curry who put up six three-points with 23 points, 3 rebounds, and 3 assists.
In the stretch of 10 consecutive games victory, Warriors have maintained an average 128.6 points per game and that is the best improve average point per game for any franchise since 34 year - that was last achieved by Magic Johnson and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar for Lakers according to ESPN.
However, Irvings led Celtics in the defeat to Warriors with double-digits of 32 points, 6 rebounds, and 10 assists.
"Special players, they tend to get better as the game goes," says Kevin Durant about Celtics and mentioned that Irving was ones of those inspirational players in their team. Durant led Warriors in the stats with 33 points, 9 rebounds, and 3 assists.
