With a combine effort from Paul Goerge and Russell Westbrook, Oklahoma City Thunder dominated the game through to beat Portland Trailblazers by 123-114 at Chesapeake Energy Arena on Tuesday night.
Thunder kept the 7-point lead gained from second quarter through, even when Blazers came out to close the gap midway through fourth quarter by 109-106, Westbrook kept the side through and closed the game with a dunk for Thunder to finish with 9-point lead at the buzzer.
George put up a new personal best hitting 36 points to lead Thunder through to the buzzer for the win as they improve by 28-19. Until the game, he has career high of +16 points, however, he finished the scores atop with 8 rebounds and 4 assists.
Westbrook extended his triple-double streak hitting 29 basket points with 10 rebounds and 14 assists. Danian Lillard topped the stats for Blazer with 34 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists.
