Premier League: Mo Salah Scores Twice For Liverpool In 4-3 Win Over Crystal Palace
Sadio Mane scored a much-needed goal after James Milner was red carded as Liverpool come from behind to beat Crystal Palace 4-3 at Anfield Stadium to maintain their table lead
Had it not been for Sadio Mane who had put Reds in a comfortable lead in injury time, it could have ended in a draw with a dead late injury-time strike from Palace's Max Meyer.
Palace opened the scoring when Andros Townsend kicked in Wilfried Zaha's cross from the left flange of the box just after half an hour of play.
Mo Salah put Reds back in the game by scoring the equalizer and Roberto Firmino doubled it slamming in a right footed shot with Naby Keita's assist.
James Tomkins leveled the stats for Palace heading in Luka Milivojevic's cross and Salah responded to the even score-line poking in the third goal to put Reds back ahead.
After Milner was awarded second yellow card that resulted in being sent off on the brink of full time, Mane extended the lead with the fourth goal in injury time.
Dead late into the injury time, needlessly Max Meyer scored a consolating third goal for Palace which after losing dropped to 14th place in the table.
Reds finished the game with their 1,000th home goal in Premier League games and are now 7 points clear their closest rivals Manchester City.
