Premier League: Alexandre Lacazette Leads Arsenal To Win 2-0 Over Chelsea
Alexandre Lacazette delivered a sensational self-effort opening goal for Arsenal that led to Chelsea conceding game by 2-0 at Emirates Stadium.
The fate of the game was decided in the first half with Lacazette brilliantly controlled Hector Bellerin's cross in the box and dribbled amidst Chelsea defenders and slammed in the opening goal in about a quarter into the game.
Whilst Chelsea failed to get an equalizer Laurent Koscielny added in the second goal for Gunners heading home Sokratis' cross from the left wing just after half an hour.
Meanwhile, the score-line could have been much wider had Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang completed the chance created for him Lacazette very early into the game.
This made it Chelsea's back-to-back at Emirates in Premier League games as Arsenal close in on Blues in the table with three points and overtook Manchester United to be in fifth position.
