New York Knicks End Losing Streak With 119-112 Win Over Los Angeles Lakers

As Los Angeles Lakers remain winless in four games in a row, New York Knicks ended its drought by beating the home side 112-119 on Friday night.
Lakers have not been the same since four-time MVP winner was ruled out for a strained left groin and it appeared to be compounding after Kyle Kuzma joined in on the bench over back injury.
Lakers had gained the upper in the game after reducing Knicks' led before overtaking to lead in the third quarter with Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk's 3-pointer and Brandon Ingram hit a two-points to keep the lead by six points.
It was a different game in the fourth round as Knicks turned the deficit around for five-point lead over Lakers winning the quarter by 33-20.
In a post-match interview, manager Luke Walton and Josh Hart could not hide their frustrations over losing the same way they did against Oklahoma City Thunder on Thursday and implore the team to learn from these.
We're losing the same way. That's the frustrating part about it. We've got to learn that when adversity strikes, we can't fray off into our own world." Hart lamented.
Walton pointed out that issue with the team was that they lacked ball possession but were unable to hit the basket as they should in the fourth quarter.
"The frustrating part about is that...The ball was moving beautifully when we built our lead. We got to the fourth and we had a couple possessions of nice ball movement, and then once shots didn't go in, guys started trying to do it on their own. That's not a recipe for us to win," says Walton.
