Kyle Kuzma Suffered Back Injury As Thunder Beat Lakers By 100-107
Kyle Kuzma joined the list of Lakers' veteran ruled out for injury after suffering back contusuon during the team's 100-107 defeat to Oklahoma City Thunder at Staples Centre on Wednesday.
The 23-year-old only played for 16 minutes before court for the locker room with lower back injury having scored 4 points and one rebound.
Lakers losing streak extended by 1-3 as Kuzma joined the team's top veterans LeBron James and Rajon Rondon who are already out-of-action due to injuries.
Speaking about the injury spell Tyson Chandler admitted it is affecting the team and believed the team can still keep up only for younger players to take it as a chance to show their potentials.
"We're already down guys, we're already down a big chunk of our scoring and then to take one of thr highlighted players off the court, it just makes things tough," says Chandlers.
Thunder's Paul George led the scores with 37 points, 4 rebounds and 2 assists. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope led the game for Lakers with 25 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists.
