Kyle Kuzma Leads Lakers To Beat Detroit Pistons With Career-High Of 41 Points
Lakers continued winning streak with Kyle Kuzma scoring more than 40 points as they beat Detroit Pistons by 113-100 at Staples Centre on Thursday.
Kuzma hit a career-high 41 points and 2 rebounds a game after returning to the court from back injury that ruled him out for two games.
Pistons' lead in the first quarter was wiped out as Lakers went for a cruise in the second quarter outscoring them by 55-47 in the first half.
After the break, nothing changed with Lakers' dominance as they wrapped the game up for their second win a row since Kuzma returned and third victory without LeBron James.
Kuzma thanks his teammates for passing the ball to him and allowing him to upset his previous personal best of 38 points and added saying "I think for the most part, everything was in the rhythm of the offense, which was a good thing for everybody."
