Kyle Kuzma, Ivica Zubac Lead Lakers To Win 138-128 On Trip Against Oklahoma City Thunder

Lakers keep going strong without their top veteran LeBron James who was ruled out for strained left groin injury. Kyle Kuzma shouldered the responsibility leading the franchise to win on trip against Russel Westbrook's Oklahoma City Thunders in overtime by 138-128 at Chesapeake Energy Arena on Thursday night.
Kuzma finished the game with season-high of 32 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. He was joined in the stats by Ivica Zubac who had a heroic night for double-digit scoring with career-high 26 points and 12 rebounds.
Thunder had a blast in the opening quarter and Lakers soon turned their slow start to all out offensive and wiped off their 17 points lead to lead the stats in the first half.
Lakers were off to win the game with 2.9 seconds when Westbrook misfired 3-pointer attempt but was awarded free throw for Lonzo Ball foul on him. He hit the free throws to tie up the scoring for an overtime.
Eventually, the added time did work out fine for Thunder as Lakers wrapped it up for a win in overtime.
Westbrook could not hit his triple-double streak during the game but put up a double-digit of 26 points, 13 rebounds and 9 assists.
