Klay Thompson Leads Warriors In 122-95 Win Over Knicks
Klay Thompson was on fire against New York Knicks, scoring above 40 points to lead Golden State Warriors to win by 122 - 95 at Oracle Arena on Tuesday.
Knick didn't stand much chance with Warriors which controlled the game through to the buzzer, and finished the first half of the season in second place with a 27-14 record behind Denver Nuggets in the Western Conference.
Warriors maintained their winning streak against Knicks which they have beaten in ten consecutive games through five NBA seasons.
Thompson finished the game with 43 points and 2 rebounds completing 7-in-16 3-pointer attempts and 18-in-29 from the field. Two-time MVP winner, Steve Curry, also recorded his first double-digit of the season with 14 points, 7 rebounds and 14 assists.
Kevin Durant who led behind Thompson in scoring with 24 points admitted his 3-point shooting ability is unique, he says in post-match interview: "He's Klay Thompson. He can get it going at any time. I just want him to keep shooting and keep being aggressive like he always does."
