James Harden Hits 40-Point Streak In Rockets' Overtime 138-134 Win Over Lakers

James Harden hit 40-point streak as Houston Rockets come from behind to beat Los Angeles Lakers in overtime by 138-134 at the Toyota Center on Saturday.
Lakers inability to hold on to their lead after Lonzo Ball sustained an ankle injury, paved the way to Rockets' rallied inspired by Harden firing three 3-pointers to dragged the game into overtime with 32.7 seconds left to play.
Lonzo Ball's exit in the third quarter, culminated in Lakers forfeiting 18-pointed to Rockets which came out on the offensive and reduced their deficit to four points.
Despite Lance Stephenson putting up 3 3-pointers to extend Lakers' lead in quarter fourth, Harden inspired his side and set the stats for a potential tie-up with 32.7 seconds remaining, posting a three-pointer before Eric Gordon hit a 3-point basket with 2.0 seconds left to play leading the game into overtime. 
Gordon and Harden quickly fire up Rockets with three-point baskets and rode on to outscore Lakers in the overtime by 18-14 to win the game.
Harden led the scoring for Rockets with 48 points, 8 rebounds, and 6 assists, followed Gordon with 30 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists.
Kyle Kuzma led Lakers in the score chart with 32 points, 8 rebounds, and 3 assists. Meanwhile, Lakers 13 points lead in the first quarter was a courtesy of Kuzma who posted 20 points for Lakers points lead over Rockets that lasted through the first half.
