FA Cup Third Round: Manchester City Heavily Thrash Rotherham

Manchester City strolled through to fourth round of the FA Cup beating Rotherham by a huge margin at Etihad Stadium on Sunday.
Rotherdam were no match for the Premier League title holders who took turns to thrash them 7-0, which ties with Tranmere Rovers' 7-0 defeat Tottenham for the heaviest defeat in a FA Cup game in recent times.
Early into the game, Raheem Sterling finished Kevin de Bruyne's pass for City's opening goal and Phil Foden nailed in the second goal from inside the area late in the first half.
Semi Ajayi compounded the situation for Rotherham scoring an own goal for City's third goal followed by Gabriel Jesus, Riyhad Mahrez, Nicolas Otamendi and Leroy Sane scoring to complete the 7-0 victory for City.
Making important contributions to the victory was Ilkay Gundogan, he assisted Mahrez, Otamendi and Leroy Sane in scoring.
"We are going to try and do well in every competition we play in," says Guardiola in post-match interview "We took it seriously, we do what we have to do to become a great, great club."
